Gabriel Watson

A competitive hockey player in high school, Gabriel spent years traveling across the West Coast and Canada. The sport demanded preparation, adaptability, and composure under pressure—qualities that continue to shape his approach to advocacy.

After studying political science and business at the University of Oregon, Gabriel earned a degree in Emergency Medical Services and became a paramedic. He served with the City of Eugene Fire Department before returning to Portland in 2006, spending years responding to emergencies and helping people through the most difficult moments of their lives.

Following the loss of his mother to cancer in 2011, Gabriel decided to pursue law as another form of service. He worked full-time while attending Lewis & Clark Law School, graduating in 2019 and passing the Oregon State Bar that same year. During law school, he won the school’s mock trial competition and gained courtroom experience as a certified law student.

Before founding Watson Law, Gabriel represented individuals, small businesses, and investors in complicated disputes. Since joining the bar, he has served as lead counsel in more than fifty matters, appearing in state and federal courts, the Oregon Court of Appeals, and before administrative bodies. In 2024, he began collaborating with Trial Lawyers for Justice to support large, high-impact cases with national trial resources.

Outside the office, Gabriel is married and the father of twins. He enjoys time with his family on the Deschutes River, along with rafting, hiking, live music, and photography.
